The Phenix NEO range is the purest expression of innovation from Bodart & Gonay. These wood-burning inserts feature a vertical-lift guillotine door system, a one-of-a-kind mechanism that lets the appliance change character to suit the moment.

The Phenix 65V NEO is the most compact version of the family, engineered to slot perfectly into smaller spaces without giving up the spectacle of the fire. Its name carries the "V" (Vitree), meaning it comes with a taller glass than the standard model, for a panoramic view of the flames that is genuinely impressive given its size.

Two experiences in a single appliance:

• Door open (open fire): The door rises vertically and hides away in the upper section, creating a genuine open fire with heat recovery. Perfect for enjoying the cosy atmosphere of a traditional fireplace.
• Door closed (maximum efficiency): Lower the door and the firebox turns into a high-efficiency airtight system, ideal for heating the home on the coldest days.

Efficiency and heat output:

• Operating range (heat output): from 7 to 13 kW.
• Net efficiency: 77.3%

Technology and ease of use:

• Silent mechanism: The system runs on chains and counterweights gliding over ball bearings, with Eriflon rollers that guarantee whisper-quiet operation and need no lubrication.
• Fire control: Twin system: manual ("+" and "-" selector) and automatic, via a thermostat that protects the appliance against overheating.
• Tilting opening: The door opens on a tilting system that makes cleaning the glass and the interior effortless.

Glass that stays clean:

The Phenix 65V NEO features a flue gas extraction system with preheated air directed over the glass, keeping it clear for far longer. With no metal below the glass, the view of the fire is purer and cleaner.

• External air intake: Ø125 mm (from the rear or from the base of the appliance).
• Heat exchanger: Large surface area for optimal heat transfer.
• Baffles: 3 adjustable baffles plus one fixed baffle, for maximum heat recovery and perfect adaptation to the draught of each fireplace.

Finish options:

• Skamolex interior (Vermiculite): Fitted as standard. A light finish that reflects the light and gives the fire extra brightness.
• Metal interior: Optional extra. Black steel finish, sober and contemporary in style.
• Trim frames (fitted as standard): 4 mm frame or 30 mm frame (your choice).
