The Phenix NEO range represents the purest innovation from Bodart & Gonay, combining the visual spectacle of an open fire with the thermal efficiency of a state-of-the-art airtight insert.

The Phenix 85 NEO is the mid-sized model in the family, designed to offer the perfect balance between size, heat output and visual impact. It fits into a wide variety of rooms while keeping the guillotine door technology that defines the whole range.

Two experiences in a single appliance:

• Door open (open fire): The door rises vertically thanks to a chain-and-counterweight mechanism running on ball bearings, with Eriflon rollers that guarantee silent operation and require no lubrication. In this position you can enjoy a genuine open fire with heat recovery, perfect for creating atmosphere.
• Door closed (maximum efficiency): When the door is lowered, the firebox becomes a high-efficiency airtight system, ideal for heating the home on the coldest days. Combustion is almost complete, minimising wood consumption and polluting emissions.

Efficiency and heat output:

• Rating plate (heat output): from 9 to 15 kW.
• Useful efficiency: 77.3%.
• Approvals: Phase III (Royal Decree 12/10/10), Flamme Verte 7*, EN 13229 (European standard).

Technology and ease of use:

Fire control is twofold: manual and automatic, via a thermostat that protects the appliance against overheating by automatically closing the air inlet if the temperature rises too high.

Cleaning has been carefully thought through: the door can be tilted open for easy access to the interior, and the ash pan allows clean, convenient ash removal.

Always-clean glass:

The Phenix 85 NEO features a flue gas extraction system with preheated air directed over the glass, keeping it clean for longer. The absence of metal below the glass gives a purer, cleaner view of the fire.

• Hot air outlets: 2 outlets of Ø150 mm.
• External air intake: Ø125 mm (from the rear or from the base of the appliance).
• Heat exchanger: Large surface area for optimum heat transfer.
• Baffles: 3 adjustable baffles plus one fixed baffle for maximum heat recovery and adaptation to the draught of each fireplace.

Finish options:

• Skamolex interior (vermiculite): Included as standard. A light-coloured finish that reflects the light and makes the fire brighter.
• Metal interior: Paid option. Black steel finish, understated and contemporary.
• Trim frames (included as standard): 4 mm frame or 30 mm frame (your choice).
