Description
The CONCEPT 540 is the intelligent choice for those seeking to integrate authentic wood fire in contemporary and highly insulated homes. Designed by Bodart & Gonay, this single-sided cassette represents the culmination of technology in ecological wood heating, the result of over 70 years of innovation.
Its most outstanding feature is being completely airtight with outside air intake, making it 100% compatible with passive and low-energy homes. Unlike traditional fireplaces, it does not consume the precious and warm air of your home.
Despite its ultra-compact format, it does not give up the spectacle of fire. Its unique door design with XXL glass surface and extremely discreet metal frame offers you a panoramic and almost unobstructed view of the flames. Even the small Concept 540 offers an already impressive flame view.
The closing mechanism allows leaving the door slightly open during ignition, facilitating lighting and avoiding glass condensation. Once the wood is burning, it closes completely in the second position. Its control system is simple and discreet, and works perfectly without ventilation in very insulated houses, or can be equipped with a ultra-quiet ventilation kit that consumes less than 12 W.
