The unit carries a low-consumption burner with a ceramic inner lining that changes the way combustion works: the burner draws on the vapour released by the warm fuel rather than on the bioethanol itself, which cuts consumption by roughly 40% according to the manufacturer.

In use it delivers a genuine open flame of the linear type, with no flue, no professional installation and no gas evacuation required. It gives off no smoke, no odours and no ash. Heat is felt almost as soon as it is lit, with a flame effect matching that of a wood fire within minutes.
