The INFIRE SMART 950 without ventilation is the flagship model within the SMART wood-burning cassette range from Bodart & Gonay. Designed to be built into the wall, it combines the warmth of traditional fire with the most advanced technology. The manufacturer, with over 70 years of experience, has created this equipment to exceed demanding European regulations.

This model offers an efficiency of 81.6% and power output of up to 14 kW, making it the ideal choice for very large rooms, single-family homes, detached houses or country homes with high heating demand.

Choose your door style

You can choose between steel door or glass door, both at the same price:

• Steel door: More traditional, robust and classic appearance.
• Glass door: Maximum fire view, more contemporary and clean style.

Both options have the same performance and quality.

A panoramic fire window

The door structure is located behind the glass, with sides angled inward. This allows you to see much more fire and much less metal. The closing system has two positions: you can leave the door slightly open during ignition so the glass does not fog up.

The fire view is 414 mm high by 864 mm wide, the largest in the entire SMART range, offering a truly panoramic and immersive visual experience.

Clean combustion and always transparent glass

The equipment features a double smoke extraction system that directs hot air over the glass. This prevents soot from sticking, keeping the glass clean for longer. The combustion chamber is deep, concentrating embers in the center and preventing ashes from escaping the hearth.

With an efficiency of 81.6%, the SMART 950 makes excellent use of wood energy. This means:

• Less wood consumption to achieve the same temperature.
• Lower emissions of pollutants.
• Greater savings in heating.

Maximum heat utilization (without ventilation)

This model does not include fans. Heat is distributed by natural convection and direct radiation. It is the perfect option for:

• Very well-insulated homes.
• Houses with a double-flow ventilation system that already distributes heat.
• Rooms where absolute silence is preferred.

To achieve high efficiency, the interior incorporates a heat reflector plate (vermiculite material) that causes hot gases to travel a longer path inside the equipment. This way, heat does not escape quickly through the fireplace.

Logs up to 50 cm (two units)

A standout feature of the SMART 950 is that it accepts logs up to 50 cm in length, and you can load two logs simultaneously (2 x 33 cm or 2 x 50 cm depending on arrangement). This reduces loading frequency and is ideal for long periods of use.

Smoke outlet of 180 mm

The SMART 950 has a smoke outlet diameter of 180 mm, which allows for better exhaust gas evacuation and more efficient draft in large fireplaces.

Easy cleaning and maintenance

• Ash drawer accessible from the front: Remove ashes quickly and comfortably.
• Removable filter: Protects the interior from dust; easily removed and cleaned.
• Removable air distributors: Can be removed without tools.

Versatile installation

The combustion air inlet can be connected by the rear, bottom or front. The feet are adjustable to level the equipment. The finishing frames are included in the price (4 mm, 30 mm 3 sides or 30 mm 4 sides).
