The CONCEPT 540 is the smart choice for those who want to integrate authentic wood fire into contemporary and highly insulated homes. Designed by Bodart & Gonay, this single-sided insert represents the culmination of technology in ecological wood heating, the result of over 70 years of innovation.
Its most striking feature is being a completely airtight unit with external air intake, making it 100% compatible with passive and low-energy homes. Unlike traditional fireplaces, it does not consume the precious, warm air of your home.
Despite its ultra-compact format, it does not sacrifice the spectacle of fire. Its unique door design with XXL glass surface and extremely discreet metal structure gives you a panoramic and almost unobstructed view of the flames. Even the small Concept 540 offers an impressive fire view.
The closing mechanism allows the door to remain slightly open during ignition, facilitating combustion and preventing condensation on the glass.
