Description
Franek 12 fireplace insert with water base and coil is a specific type of hybrid that combines the functions of a typical aerial fireplace insert with the capabilities of a water jacket insert. In the combustion of the base furnace with a water jacket and coil, a coherent heating device was permanently placed.
As a result, part of the thermal energy contained in the combustion gas leaving the combustion chamber of the fireplace insert is captured by the base. The water in the base is heated and then transferred to the central heating system. Thanks to this type, with the same amount of fuel, we gain two different ways to heat our house.
The water base with coil is adapted for cooperation with the radiator installation and the underfloor heating system driven by central heating appliances for solid fuels, gas, oil, electricity, as well as with heat pumps and solar batteries.
The base is made of steel designed for operation at high temperature. This material is adapted to work in central heating systems and ensures high reliability of the device, thermal resistance and long-term operation. Its central part is the inner chamber in which a system of horizontal tubes, called flames, is equipped which increase the contact surface of water with the heating medium, that is, exhaust gases. Due to this, the base acquires the maximum amount of heat from the fumes and transfers it to the water. Thermal protection of the device is ensured by the coil, which ensures reliable operation of the entire fireplace.
The water base during the operation of the device must be connected to central heating. Installation which means it must be filled with water. Otherwise, it could be damaged.
The device can operate in both open and closed systems, with a working pressure of 2 bar.

Maximum energy use
The insert is equipped with externally mounted radiators densely distributed. Due to such a solution, the area of heat transfer with the environment is much larger and, at the same time, the mass of the fireplace is increased.
The device has a triple ventilation system of the combustion chamber, therefore the burning process in the wood insert is ecological and most importantly economical.
Primary air supply to the insert is from outside due to the built-in air inlet (125 mm in size). The air intake is located at the bottom of the insert.
Secondary air is supplied through holes in the rear wall of the furnace, which creates a post-combustion system. The system is responsible for the combustion of gases and the reduction of emissions of harmful substances to the environment. It improves the efficiency of the fireplace, which has a direct influence on very low CO emissions.
The device is equipped with a clean glass system - thanks to the so-called curtain air current it is distributed evenly, the glass is swept and particle sedimentation is reduced to minimum.This allows you to maintain a clean and effective appearance of the glass for a long time.
Combustion chamber ventilation control is independent for the three systems so that the user has better control over the combustion process.

HIGH level security
The cast iron front of the insert is equipped with decorative heat-resistant ceramic glass that resists temperatures up to 660°C, which also has quality and safety certificate. Additionally, this type of finish gives the fireplace a modern and elegant appearance, which visually expands the front of the device.
Densely spaced radiators and furnace walls made of high quality 8 mm thick cast iron guarantee safety and maximum heat use.

Convenient use
The device is additionally equipped with a clean glass system - thanks to the so-called curtain air. The air current is distributed evenly, sweeps the glass and minimizes soot deposits on it. This allows you to maintain an attractive and clean window for a long time.
It is easy to keep the fireplace clean due to the mounted grid and drawer in which ash accumulates.
Moreover, it has a removable fence that protects wood from falling out of the furnace and makes it easier to clean the fireplace.

Ecological combustion
Due to its construction and triple ventilation system of the combustion chamber, the device meets the requirements of ecodesign and the BImSchV 2 standard, which establishes the maximum CO emissions. Furthermore, the sealed combustion chamber makes it ideal for homes with heat recovery.
