Description
The Scan 1004 CS is a flat steel insert from Scandinavian brand Scan, the larger sibling of the Scan 1003 CS in the same series, with vermiculite interior lining and simple design intended for installation in existing open fireplaces.
With a declared power of 10 kW and 81% efficiency, it is a suitable option for medium-large rooms. Its sealed combustion takes combustion air directly from outside, improving efficiency in homes with poor air renewal, and meets Ecodesign regulations with a CO rate of 0.07%. The clean-glass system keeps the flame visible by directing a stream of air over the inside of the glass.
It accommodates logs up to 65 cm, 15 cm more than the 1003, and is available with white glass and chrome frame, or with black glass and black steel frame.
