Description
In its Hearthstone collection, Hergom brings together some of the highest quality cast iron stoves, in terms of both craftsmanship and materials, to be found anywhere in the world.
Alongside the more than well-known casting quality of this Cantabrian brand (the only one in Spain that can boast its own foundry), we find high-quality details such as soapstone volcanic stone interiors, the material with the greatest thermal inertia that exists, capable of retaining heat for almost 24 hours after the fire has gone out.
The stove can be operated as a sealed unit, with an outside air intake via an adapter piece. This way, the stove can run continuously without lowering the oxygen level in our home.
The double combustion system, with an additional supply of preheated air that reburns the gases and residues from the first burn, is extremely effective, since the air travels through the entire rear and upper deflector of the unit until it reaches the ideal point of action inside the firebox. Hergom has renamed its double combustion system as the Fire Perfect system, to set it apart from other ways of providing this extra supply of oxygen for better burning that exist on the market and, although they share the same concept, carry it out less efficiently than this one.
