Description
PICARD is an autonomous steel wood-burning stove with a rounded front that enhances the beautiful view of the fire. It is a great solution for people looking for a modern and eco-friendly device.
MODERN DESIGN
Enhance your view of the fire thanks to curved glass.
The interior of the stove is lined with the innovative TERMOTEC material, which contrasts perfectly with the stove, giving it a modern design. TERMOTEC is a ceramic material that accumulates heat and raises the temperature in the oven.
A solid sliding handle (click) facilitates sealing the door. Because of this, the appliance is suitable for homes with recovery systems.
Below the combustion chamber there is an additional closed compartment where the air inlet connection system is hidden. The opening of the chamber door is based on an intuitive push-to-open system that does not require a separate handle.
ECOLOGICAL COMBUSTION
The stove meets Ecodesign criteria and the restrictive BImSchV 2 standard, which sets maximum CO emissions.
MAXIMUM ENERGY USE
More efficient combustion and prolonged temperature maintenance in the oven thanks to lining the combustion chamber with TERMOTEC ceramic material that accumulates heat. Complete combustion over ash is achieved by deflectors extending the exhaust path. This process increases combustion efficiency, ensuring better energy use while minimising harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
Additionally, a diaphragm installed at the exhaust outlet functions similarly to the deflector, increasing device effectiveness.
Primary air is supplied to the insert via an integrated 100 mm external air inlet located at the bottom of the unit. The insert features a cover plate on the rear wall and a hole in its base, allowing users to choose how to connect the external air kit. Air adjustment is made using a regulator situated below the door.
Triple combustion chamber airflow system: primary air directed towards the grate; secondary air supplied through holes located at the back panel. Additionally, a clean-glass (curtain) air system has been applied.
HIGHEST LEVEL OF SAFETY
The PICARD front is equipped with heat-resistant ceramic capable of withstanding temperatures up to 660°C. The proposed glass is certified for quality and safety.
Both the body and front of the insert are resistant to high temperatures due to the use of high-quality steel, ensuring structural stability throughout.
Excellent airtightness is guaranteed thanks to robust welds made on the noble gas shield. Steel elements are cut using modern laser devices and then bent in CNC bending machines.
COMFORTABLE USE
The oven can be kept clean easily thanks to the grate and removable ash container for collecting residues.
The glazing remains clean thanks to the clean-glass system used, where an air curtain separates the glass from the combustion chamber preventing soiling. PICARD has the capacity to mount the exhaust outlet either at the top or rear of the unit, facilitating installation (rear exhaust requires purchase of a top plate cover).
