Description
Alongside the wide range of oven and stove-with-oven models that allow you to cook over embers in the combustion chamber and roast in the upper oven, this model stands out with the differentiating feature of also offering the option to cook on its cast iron cooktop, just like a traditional "bilbaína" wood-fired cooker.
The Bronpi Monza has an output of 9Kw, which — depending on the floor-to-ceiling height, the geographic location of the home and the quality of the building's insulation — will heat around 90m2 of living space.
The Bronpi Monza comes standard with an ember grill that, like most Bronpi models, is rotating. That is, instead of pulling it out on rails, it rotates 90 degrees toward the outside of the stove, making it easier to place and remove food. The oven area, with a refractory brick base to increase heat accumulation and thermal inertia, includes a stainless steel tray.
The true star of the model is the cast iron cooktop, with two burners made of concentric rings. These rings are removable, both to make it easier to clean the top of the oven (which is in contact with the smoke path) and to allow cooking without them when needed, just as you would with a traditional bilbaína cooker, to achieve a higher temperature at the base of clay or cast iron pots.
